Ciccio Forgives, I Don't
Franco and Ciccio are small time horse thieves who get involved with the bandit, El Diablo, and two former members of his gang who are after his gold. Fortunately two pretty, sharp shooting saloon girls come to the bumbling duo's rescue.
Curator's Take
“A comedy vehicle for the Italian duo Franco and Ciccio. It’s a spoof of the 'God Forgives' titles, relying on broad physical comedy and wordplay. Strictly for fans of Italian farce.”
Why This Movie Is Important
A direct parody of 'God Forgives', realized almost immediately after the original. This instant spoofing demonstrates how deeply the Spaghetti Western was embedded in Italian pop culture, everyone knew the tropes well enough to laugh at them.
